Grand Prix du Vin Suisse – The shortlist has been announced: final results to be announced October 31, 2017 !
The 78 wines competing for the 39 Grand Prix du Vin Suisse trophies are now known, with the shortlist made up of the six wines (gold and silver medal winners) nominated across the competition’s 13 categories now revealed. For the 2017 edition, over 2840 wines from 511 producers were tasted in Sierre by 170 judges over a six-day period. Once again, this national competition has illustrated the incredible support it receives from Switzerland’s growers, as well as the diversity and outstanding quality of their wines. The names of Switzerland’s 2017 wine stars will be revealed on October 31, 2017.
