VINEA was founded in 1994 at the same time as the Rencontres Vinicoles in Sierre (canton Valais, Switzerland). Since then, VINEA has become a centre of excellence for the Swiss wine sector, organising promotional activities at regional, national and international level.
36 well-known producers (all VINEA association members) will present their best wines on this occasion.
Follow this great opportunity to discover the diversity and excellence of wines from across Switzerland, under one roof.
The 2017 edition of the VINEA Swiss Wine Fair closed its doors after three very successful days during which the many visitors discovered the fair’s new features. The inclement weather did not dampen the spirits of the 6350 visitors who attended the 24th VINEA Swiss Wine Fair.
The international scope of the competition is once again apparent, with nearly 1,300 wines from 25 countries registered. Six Great Gold medals, a record, were awarded today within the grounds of the splendid Château Mercier in Sierre. An indication of the clear success of Swiss Pinot Noir wines: they carried away more than two-thirds of the gold medals.
